I live in Springfield, IL, almost eighty miles away from Kirby Medical Group. I have chosen to visit Dr. Mandhan, rather than a doctor in Springfield because I was so impressed after my first appointment.
One more thing. The staff at Kirby are among the friendliest and most accommodating people I have ever dealt with. I'd also like to mention that Kelly, a nurse in Dr. Mandhan's office, has gone out of her way, more than once, to help me with various issues. She's just a great member of a great staff. So, yeah, I'll drive to Monticello. No problem.
Dr. Mandhan always has time for me, to talk about my health problems and solutions. My previous doctor in Springfield prescribed everything from A to Z in the pharmacopoeia, trying to find the right medicine for me. Dr. Mandhan saw me once, prescribed a certain medication and I've been happy and healthy on it for a couple of years now.
He's a good guy, has a sense of humor, and listens! I can't say I enjoy spending the extra, significant gas costs to drive to Monticello, but I know when I get there he will be the same helpful, caring individual that I saw the last time.
